Commissions

Taper: Your choice of Garrison, Leonard or Payne.
Stagger: As standard we use a Leonard 3:3 but can also be built using Garrison or Payne.
Length: From 6 to 15 feet in length
Weight: Rods are available in 1-10weight
No of Pieces: Rods can be built in either 1, 2, 3 or even 4 piece configuration. The length of the longest single piece rod is limited to less than 7 feet. Please note that the weight of additional ferrules will slow the action of the rod, but this can be offset to a degree by the use of a faster action taper
No of Tips: Each Charles Clemes come with matching tips made from the same culm of bamboo. Extra tips can be made upon request
Grip: Our grips are turned from the finest Flor grade cork and are available in either cigar, half or full wells and double handed grips
Reel Seats: Are available in two choices, we recommend our Nickel Silver reel seat with your choice of exhibition grade walnut spacer for freshwater applications or our solid titanium reel seats for estuarine or saltwater applications
Hollow butt section: Available for rods of 6 weight and above
Colouration: Available in light natural to dark flamed
Finish: Your choice of impregnated or varnished
Inscription: Your choice of inscription
Rod tubes and Cases: Custom or leather rod tubes and cases are available by request and can be embossed with your initials or brass plaque. Cases can be built to accommodate rods, reels, lines and fly boxes
